Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the guardians ?
Guardians are your closest contacts who will help you in case you ask for SOS through Grintrack. You must inform them that you are going to add their phone number and instructions on how they should act. They are anonymous to our system, you only need to add their alias and mobile phone number.
How do my guardians receive the alarms?
The guardians will receive an SMS or a WhatsApp depending on how you have configured the system with a link where when opening it on a website they will be able to see your location.
How do I know my alarms have been received and how does the system ensure this?
Oops. It´s no possible to get confirmation of your alarm has been received on you watch. You cha check it on your Grintrack web control panel. Anyway, we use SMS the most reliable system to communicate with a phone, if it is on, of course
How many guardians can I include in Grintrack?
It depends on your subscription. If you contract the basic plan you can configure up to 2 guardians.
In the premium plan you can configure up to 5 guardians. If you need to add more you can include as many as you want for 1 additional euro.
Do my message packages expire ?
If you don't use your messages within a year, your messages will expire. In order for Grintrack to continue working, you will have to renew your voucher with another message package.
If you use up your messages before the year is up, you wil also have to buy a new voucher, which starts its one-year validity at the time of the new purchase.
Does it work on all smartwatches ?
Nope. Not all smartwatches are compatible. They must have the functionality to be able to launch background applications from a button with a tap.
